Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Movie Review

1.) Ratings:5/5 Review By Umair Sandhu Site: Twitter

Every sequence of BAAHUBALI 2 is a marvel that can easily be compared to the best of Hollywood. The grandiose sets, VFX, sound, edit, cinematography and most importantly, the screenplay of BAAHUBALI 2 is beyond fantastic. Mindblowing Story, Screenplay, Dialogues, Music & Screenplay. On the whole, BAAHUBALI 2 makes you proud that an Indian filmmaker dared to dream big and accomplished it. BAAHUBALI 2 is definitely not to be missed. Call it a box-office blockbuster today, but tomorrow, it will be remembered as a classic.

2.) Rating: 3.5/5. Review by Manjusha on Gulfnews

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is a colorful amalgamation of hit serials like Game Of Thrones and those archaic Indian mythological series such as Mahabharata or the Ramayana. It’s bloody, gory and has an indefatigable hero who knows how to slay his opponents.
Watch this if you are a fan of fantasy fiction and love tales of warrior kings and fierce queens.

Rating: 3.5/5. Review by Siddartha Toleti on Mirchi9

The one major and most significant difference between the two movies is that while watching the first part, we were taken into a new world. Everything felt new and fresh, and the story only added to the mystery of Mahismati kingdom. In the second part, after few sequences into the film, that sense of watching an epic is gone, and it feels like we are watching a regular drama unfold at such high cost. It’s like a regular Telugu film only made at a gigantic cost. It makes BB2 lose epic feel in the overall sense compared to the first part but “hero” gets all the attention and elevation he needs.

Rating: 4.5/5. Review by Meena Iyer on Times of India

This part is more prequel tha a sequel because initially the story traces the origins of Baahubali’s father, who was originally meant to be the King of Mahishmati. It also delves on the love-story between Amarendra and Devasena(Anushka Shetty), who is mother of Mahendra Baahubali(Prabhas in a dual role.) Recounted in the folklore-meets-Aesop’s fable-style, the plot is simple and carries the good triumphs over evil thought forward just like the first part did. Albeit with some childish conspiracy theories added in. Of course, the end comes together in a long-drawn climax that could have been 10-minutes shorter.

Rating: 2/5. Review by Shubra Gupta on Indian Express

I enjoyed the first part enormously. The second one comes to life only intermittently. Leaving the theater, you can’t help wishing that Kattapa had killed the fellow earlier, for us to get a tighter, more economical and perhaps sharper conclusion.

Earth-shattering, mind-numbing, historic… and much more!!!! That’s the start of #Bahubali2 today! Blockbuster of epic proportions!!!
